What is the Cadastre
The cadastre is the body of basic data about the location, boundaries, and dimensions of real estate properties throughout the Republic of Bulgaria, along with property rights and other property-law rights over them. It is managed by the Cadastre, Geodesy and Cartography Agency (AGCC) under the Ministry of Regional Development.
The cadastre is the technical foundation of all property transactions, urban planning, taxation, and local government.

For a standard apartment in Sofia, pricing starts from 180 BGN excl. VAT. This includes geodetic measurement, preparation of the amendment project for the cadastral map, and submission to AGCC. State fees are charged separately.
